Easy yet Delicious Salad | Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Lemon
This next blog post is a salad recipe that is simple, easy-to-make, has few ingredients, super healthy yet very delicious. I swear. This is my go-to recipe almost every time I toss up a salad for the husband and me if I feel the body is screaming for a good bowl of vegetables. (Yes. my body would speak to me lol)

INGREDIENTS:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
Lemon Juice
Pepper
Salt
Lettuce, Kale, or any preferred greens
Add-Ons:
Kewpie in Roasted Sesame
Fruits like apples, kiwi, or whichever is available on your fridge
PROCEDURE:
1. Pour a generous amount of EVOO into a bowl.
2. Squeeze a fair amount of lemon juice into it.
3. Emulsify the olive oil and lemon juice together until it thickens and changes in consistency. I like using a fork and just beating them together sort of like beating an egg.

4. Add some sprinkle of pepper. You can add salt if you are just using these four ingredients. If you will be adding some Kewpie then skip the salt.
5. Cut up your lettuce, kale or any green vegetables that you want into bite-sized pieces then put them into the bowl. Just mix everything together.
6. Add a bit of kewpie to balance out the strong flavor of the EVOO. Or you can add more drizzle of Olive Oil and lemon. Top with your favorite fruits.
7. Eat immediately as the acids will break down the plant proteins which will cause them to wilt. Enjoy!
Easy, right? This recipe is so good. It makes eating vegetables so easy and makes you save time but you can get the nutrients your body needs.
And oh, I love slurping the sauce lol! It's that good I'm tellin' you. You will also feel good and feel prettier after days of eating these greens. haha! Plus, Olive Oil is THE BEST nutrient carrier of all time, so you, eating a good old salad will not be in vain, it will reach your bloodstream for sure.
